'bwb (bernie watts band) are doing very well with a good handful of gigs under there belts and have come out of the shadow of 'mental floss' playing a blinder last week at the the white lion in ashford,the band over the next couple of months are getting two classic blues/rock sets together.the mod material was really just to get a foot in the door although the band will continue to play the mod favourites ,so along with the stones ,who and kinks there will be a handful of cream,hendrix and fleetwood mac.all classic rock! also there will still be a couple of originals thrown in which are going down rather well.

bernie is about halfway through the demos for the re-recording of 'fear and desire' along with a few new songs,the material is alot more rocky and rough,the drums and vocals will be added at richard kilners studio in womenswold later in the summer where the'f.t.moore' e.p was recorded.bernie has been recording pre-location footage for the film where his sister cat owen has a small film company based in wales and will carry out the filming in july.a rock film of sorts-mixing dialogue footage with rock video.the dvd will probably be included with the new cd later in the year.

because of the awful financial climate for once drum lessons will not increase in the year 2009 they will remain at £20 except for half hour lessons which are now £9.50p.
