Latest news

'bwb' have made 11 demo's of origenal songs to work on for a future album.the songs are more pop/rock than blues/rock but will work quite well.a few numbers are re-worked versions of 'state of mind' songs.apart from a couple of clives songs, most of his material we be used under a differant band name as he wants most of the control over his songs and vis versa.

to anyone who wants to get in contact with bernie about lessons or gigs etc please call 07733488468 or send a text! bernie has no email at the moment.

the soundtrack to 'fear and desire' has finally arrived! 16 months later!! and is already doing well.the cds are priced at four pounds each and are available at solo gigs.it will probably be available on i tunes in the near future too.the film won't happen (not yet anyway!) as the amount of special effects needed the film company just doesn't have the finances.'bwb' are already performing 'the machine' at gigs.

two 'mental floss' cds are to be re-released in october-'live at the red lion, ramsgate' and 'live' with updated liner notes.'live' will feature a new picture cover.(all old and further releases to do with 'mental floss' have nothing to do with 'as is now'.)

drum lesson prices-hour-20 pounds an hour.45 min.15 pounds an hour.in the event of a cancellation, please give 24 hours notice.

bernie is still doing bass guitar lessons and is now starting guitar lessons.all same rules apply.

Hot news

rogue gigs-

on friday the 14th of may the 'sirocco' trio played half a set to about 50 people down at the norfolk hotel/gees in sandgate.a few people left during the set,one of them was my old neighbour from sandgate (donald the twat head) .during the break the sozzled landlady told us that "it really wasn't working out and i'm only going to pay you one hundred pounds".we decided to pack up and leave.we were paid sixty pounds in the end.a few people told us they enjoyed it and said they weren't coming back to this bar again.beware bands of this con of a venue! wankers.....

the norfolk hotel recently had some graffiti sprayed on the outside, nothing to do with 'sirocco' i might add, maybe they pissed off the wrong band/person?

to anyone who wants to gig at the star in ashford i wouldn't bother! one of my students bands' have had four gigs cancelled there, abbie has tried six times to get gigs to no avail and i went up there recently and a bloke came out of the pub (i assume it was the landlord?) and announced "you can't park there mate! its private property!!" and slammed the door! well if you can't park there to unload your gear theres no point is there?.

Other news

the 'green day' tribute band is now back on the cards! we've had a few rehearsals and they went great! probably be gigging from september.

bernie is to start a new band with tim and driss from 'heroes' called 'rock of ages'.classic rock from the 60's to the 80's.
